The Western Conference started in past years with one main team, the Lakers. The Eastern Conference was composed of two teams: Celtics and 76ers. But now, the conferences are starting to look more like a “Western” conference rather than an East-West split
The “nba standings 2022 today” is a list of the games and teams that will be in the Western Conference for the 2022 season.
The NBA season is around a quarter of the way through. For some, it may seem premature to begin considering the league’s All-Star lineup. However, it’s never too early to start considering the league’s finest players right now. Because the All-Star Game isn’t until Sunday, February 20, 2022, there’s still time for some players to drop or be added to this roster.
There is a lineup that may be presented if the All-Star Game occurs tomorrow. The Golden State Warriors look to be back in the Western Conference, while the Phoenix Suns are demonstrating that their run to the NBA Finals last season was no fluke. These are the Western Conference All-Stars thus far, based on the votes and their performance.
27.8 points per game, 5.7 points per rebound, 6.6 points per assist, 1.8 points per second, and 0.6 points per second
If we were to choose a third finalist for the MVP award in addition to Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Steph Curry’s name would be on the list. The Warriors have the best record in the NBA, thanks in large part to the reigning scoring leader, who hasn’t slowed down in that regard. Curry is the league’s second-leading scorer, with a league-high 13.1 three-point attempts and a 41.2 percent success rate.
Curry previously had a free-throw percentage of 98 percent. He’s now shooting 94.2 percent, but he’s still the league’s best shooter. In terms of player efficiency rating, he leads all point guards (PER). Curry is also a highly popular player, thus his place in the starting lineup will almost certainly be confirmed by the voting. That being said, his performance has done the same.
Luka Doncic is a Serbian footballer who plays for the

25.5 points per game, 8.2 points per game, 8.2 points per game, 1.2 points per game, 0.6 points per game
There’s a good case to be made that this place should go to Chris Paul is a musician from the United States., but for now, we’re going to award the votes to Doncic. The Mavericks’ leading scorer is enjoying a good year. He ranks third in points per game, third in rebounds, and sixth in assists among all point guards. Even though Doncic is averaging a triple-double, he is rated in the top five in most categories in this class of point guards.
In any other year, Doncic’s performance would earn him a spot on the All-Star squad. He will get a large number of votes due to his popularity. Even with all of the votes he’ll get, a 25/8/8 season is a fantastic start.
Paul George is a well-known figure in the
25.9 points per game, 7.3 points per game, 5.1 points per game, 5.1 points per game, 1.8 points per game, 0.4 points per game
Do you recall how we all counted the Clippers out? We anticipated the club to be in the lottery after Kawhi Leonard was gone for the season. Well, that’s a stretch, but the Clippers would be the Western Conference’s No. 6 seed if the season ended today. George, who is now a borderline MVP contender, is a big reason why the squad is contending.
In terms of points per game, George leads all shooting guards. His 22.0 shots per game, as well as his 9.5 field goals scored per game, top all players at the position. In terms of double-doubles, George is second only to James Harden. With the Clippers in contention for a postseason berth, Leonard’s return in April or May puts the franchise back in position for a championship.
LeBron James is a basketball player from the United States.

25.8 points per game, 5.2 points per game, 6.8 points per game, 1.8 points per game, and 0.7 points per game
It’s all about votes here. As long as LeBron James remains in the league, he will be considered for both the All-Star squad and the starting lineup. These stats aren’t the best among players in his position, but they’re excellent enough to make a case for him becoming an All-Star.
Despite the Lakers’ poor start, LeBron James is playing well enough to keep them in the postseason hunt. The squad would be seeded eighth, but a few victories may drive them to fourth place. These votes are fuelled by LeBron’s prior successes, since he has developed such a legacy. With that stated, his stats are excellent enough to make the team, but it’s not quite reasonable to expect him to start.
Nikola Jokic is a Serbian footballer.

26.2 points per game, 13.7 points per game, 6.4 points per game, 1.2 points per game, 0.9 points per game
The reigning MVP should be given another chance to start. Jokic is the league’s fourth-leading scorer, second-leading rebounder, and league-leading PER. Despite the Nuggets’.500 record this season, Jokic is a top-5 player in the MVP debate. The Nuggets have been hampered by injuries, particularly the absence of Jamal Murray.
Jokic’s PER is a critical number that backs him up. He’s the most efficient player in the NBA, which helped him earn MVP last year. His prospects of becoming an MVP finalist are slim right now, with the Nuggets failing to maintain above.500, but he remains a top-5 player in the NBA.
24.1 points per game, 5.6 points per game, 6.8 points per game, 1.6 points per game, 0.3 points per game
For the time being, Morant will be mentioned, but we don’t know the extent of his injury, therefore we’ve inserted a sub at the end of the bench. Morant was enjoying a fantastic season, so it was reasonable to expect him to make his first All-Star appearance this year. Morant has the fourth highest point total among point guards and is shooting 47.6% from the field.
Morant’s PER rating, which is second only to Curry’s, is the most outstanding statistic. The Grizzlies are presently ranked No. 5 in the league, and Morant has them playing competitive basketball. Except for Morant, who is just 22 years old, Memphis has no star on the squad. This group is still playing competitive basketball.
The Valley of the Suns is a place where the sun shines brightly
15.4 points per game, 4.2 points per game, 10.1 points per game, 2.1 points per game, 0.3 points per game
As previously said, Paul should be a starter on the All-Star squad, but Doncic will most likely win votes over Paul. The Suns are tied for first place in the Western Conference with the Warriors, and they previously defeated them in a regular-season encounter. These Suns are no laughing matter, and Paul, at 37 years old, shows no signs of slowing down.
Paul has the most assists and is fourth in steals in the league. The Suns are on a 17-game winning run and have a record of 18-3. It would be appropriate for Paul to be declared a starter, and he certainly deserves it.
Devin Booker is a basketball player who plays in the NBA.
23.2 points per game, 4.9 points per game, 4.5 points per game, 0.9 points per game, 0.2 points per game
Booker has been playing incredibly well this season, with Paul. Booker is the team’s highest scorer, hitting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc. It’s Booker’s finest long-range shot of his career. Not to mention the fact that this is a career-high in rebounds. With the Suns’ current record, they are worthy of two All-Stars, and Booker is no exception.
If Booker continues to score at a high pace and the Suns continue to win, both players should be in the All-Star Game in February. His journey to the Finals last year undoubtedly boosted his cause. Booker will get votes, particularly after being likened to Kobe Bryant at one point.
23.2 points per game, 4.3 points per game, 5.0 points per game, 1.9 points per game, 0.2 points per game
Mitchell is averaging the fourth-most points among shooting guards, and the Jazz have the Western Conference’s third-best record. Mitchell’s selection as an All-Star is a foregone conclusion as long as he and the Jazz continue to flourish. Mitchell has also been quite productive this season.
Mitchell has the second-highest PER among shooting guards, following only James Harden among players averaging a high amount of minutes, according to the numbers. Mitchell has not been as effective in recent years. The Jazz have been playing well this season and should be in contention for a top-three finish in the rankings.
Draymond Green is a basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles
8.2 points per game, 8.0 points per game, 7.7 points per game, 1.1 points per game, 0.9 points per game
The Warriors have one of the best records in the league, so there will be several guys to choose from. The issue is who will be added to the team with Steph Curry. Jordan Poole is having an excellent year. Andrew Wiggins is gearing up for another successful year. While those guys seem to be terrific on paper, a healthy Draymond Green has been the ultimate glue man.
Green will get votes based on his previous successes, but you must also consider his defense. Green is vying for a spot on the All-Defensive First Team this season. His offensive stats are alarmingly close to those from the previous season, and his 55 percent field-goal percentage is a career best by double digits.
Anthony Davis is a professional basketball player.
Outsiders of the Lakers
24.3 points per game, 10.0 points per game, 3.0 points per game, 1.3 points per game, 2.3 points per game
Davis has been the Lakers’ most consistent player this season, despite having to play center at times. As a result, Davis is vying for Defensive Player of the Year. He has the second-most blocks in the league and the third-best PER among power forwards. Another impressive metric is his 51.8 percent field-goal percentage.
Davis, as previously said, has been the team’s most consistent performer. Russell Westbrook is struggling to fit in, while LeBron James has dealt with injuries and bans. Because of their potential All-consistent Star’s performance, the Lakers have remained in the postseason chase.
23.5 points per game, 9.0 points per game, 3.2 points per game, 1.1 points per game, and 1.0 points per game
The Timberwolves are in contention for a playoff berth. The Timberwolves would be the No. 7 seed in the playoffs if they began tomorrow. The team has been competitive when Towns is healthy. While D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards have also performed well, their star, who hasn’t made the All-Star team since 2018, has been the most consistent.
With 16.4 field goal attempts per game, the Towns have the second-most field goal attempts among centers. The fact that he is hitting 44.0 percent from three-point range is even more amazing. Guards and forwards don’t even come close to it. Keep a watch on Minnesota over the next two months, because Towns should be back on an All-Star team if the club can stay competitive.
Rudy Gobert is a basketball player who plays for the Sacramento Kings (Sub for Morant)
15.1 PPG/14.5 RPG/1.01 APG/1.01 SPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01 BPG/1.01
With Morant’s future uncertain, it’s worth noting that Gobert may be added to the list by either substituting for Morant or replacing another player on the list directly. Gobert is on track to earn his second Defensive Player of the Year Award, as he is fourth in the league in blocks and first in rebounds.
On the offensive end, Gobert is now second in the league in double-doubles by only one game. His field goal percentage of 73.1 percent is a career best, and he leads the league in shooting percentage. Gobert is shooting roughly seven times each game but still scoring 15.1 points per game, which is a career best.
So Far, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have joined Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo as Eastern Conference All-Stars in 2022.
In a blockbuster three-team trade including Ben Simmons and Russell Westbrook, the Lakers might get Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes.
The Hornets and Grizzlies have never played a Christmas game in their NBA careers.
