Bethesda has announced that it will be delaying some of the features in Fallout 76, including the new Mothman event. The developer is also planning to release a free update for the game soon.
The fallout 76 season 4 is a new update that will be released in the future. It contains some features that were originally planned for release, but due to delays they have been pushed back to a later date.
How can Fallout 76 bring in the holiday spirits in a game where its death-strewn environment might make a strong argument for how every day is Halloween? Of course, by becoming friends with the famous Mothman!
“While the Mothman Equinox event is active, you’ll also meet hostile Cultist High Priests across Appalachia who can bend the will of surrounding animals to do their bidding,” Bethesda stated. Take down any High Priests you come across to prevent the Cult from expanding its power. You’ll be able to loot them for a chance to win rare item plans when you do.”
Unfortunately, the Night of the Moth patch will not be released this month or next. According to Bethesda, it should arrive in December, just in time for, uh, Christmasween? This update will also feature public event enhancements, corpse highlights, AOE looting, legendary treasure sharing, team XP sharing, improved ammunition drops, and a keychain, in addition to Mothman’s shenanigans.
Fallout 76 has also revealed that it would shift several of its remaining 2021 roadmap items into next year, including C.A.M.P. pets, four-star legendary goods, and the Invaders from Beyond event.
